Love at a level that boggles the mind! The creator of universes beyond our comprehension chose to separate himself from the Trinity, become a single cell in the womb of a small virgin living on very small speck, microscopic in size in one of the universes He created, lived as a perfect human for a short time, allowing us humans to crucify him on a cross and die for our sins. Then, Praise God, the story doesn't end there. He rose from that tomb proving He was who He said He was, and now intercedes for us before Almighty God.

Totally a secondary note: Some folks struggle with the understanding the Trinity-Father God, Son, Holy Spirit. In a somewhat limited way, using a married man with children as an example, that man is a son, husband and father. One Man, in one body, relating to different persons in totally different ways (except in a bastardly way, he cannot be a father to his mother, a son to his wife, or a husband to his son).

There is nothing to wonder about this question and I am glad you posted it.
Of course evil people all through history have committed evil deeds in the name of a religion or some kind of belief system. In response to your question, is that people who did these acts in His name NEVER knew him at all. They NEVER knew the Gospel message, they were very misinformed, misdirected and manipulated. Oh my, just look at today and media control over the masses ?
Look at the time Jesus walked the earth and did the things he did. His own people, most to many of them, never knew him either except those who sought him out. The Jewish people had been like our people today in this country were misinformed and misdirected by their own Priests and leaders. They never knew the purpose and reason Jesus came to do what he did. Like today, those then and through out history, have recreated Jesus and the True and Living God the Father in Heaven in their own creations to mislead themselves to justify their own means and ways.
So, do not blame Jesus for all the crimes people have done in his name. I am telling you right now, today, they will have to face Jesus and God on the their day of judgement. Do not take this lightly, that day will come for us all.
If I am wrong, what do I lose ? If right, what do you lose ?
It takes an open uncluttered mind to understand Gods ways.
