My wife makes two each year, one for Xmas and one for New Years. Traditional recipes are very very rich. Some of the stores carry small ones. We stick with Chloë's grandma's "7 fist pudding", which is a lot lighter, but still pretty rich - just a steamed preserved fruit creation - 7 equal measures of this and that. The fruit is all marinaded overnight. And yes, it's pretty good, especially when you add a handsome measure of brandy butter! The flambé is brandy or rum.

Love your gingerbread, Pat. Who cares what they are missing...bet they're delicious anyway.

They were especially good dunked in tea or milk. Guess you could say they met their death by drowning.

Clever Church service. I've been doing you tube services. Just not the same, even though it's my church and priest.

Yes, a twisted year. This was our first drive in.
