He's not only a Socialist he's a closet Racist!

"There's no way you can listen to this speech and not hear it as a deliberately divisive speech that pits Americans against each other and does so largely with racial innuendoes that are very, very clear when you hear the speech,"

Well after watching the unedited video on Daily Caller and then reading the report on the Huffinngton Post it seems that they watched a different video or else they cherry picked and omitted the part that they did not want to discuss.
There is a very good reason Liberal always use the HP for reference it is always spun to make there candidate look better.

Problem is dude the speech is five years old and in the life of truth of ANY politician thats about 4 yrs and 7 months late. And secondly for a white person to tell a black person that their view of Jesus has to be white is pretty arrogant too don't ya think?

Where does Jesus come into this? It was the president during his 2008 campaign telling a black audience that the White politicians in Washington do not care if they live or die.... again the rhetoric of division, and people wonder why it is if they criticize this president they are called a racist... it would seem that he started planting those seeds a long time ago.

Are you so enamored with and under the magical thumb of Obama that you actually think his fundamental hatred for whites and free successful Americans has abated any in the last 5 years?

Guess maybe you over looked the context of the speech when you viewed the tape.

I didn't I read it and am including the relevant context and the righteous indignation of Sean Hannity - a rich white guy pretending he understands Black culture. Enjoy.

"At issue Tuesday, one day before the first presidential debate and as Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney trails in polls, was a speech then-candidate Obama made to black clergy at Hampton University, a historically black institution in Virginia. Media outlets including The Associated Press and Fox News covered the remarks at the time.

Obama – now the nation's first black president – said in the speech that the Bush administration did nothing to defuse a "quiet riot" among blacks that threatened to erupt in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Then a U.S. senator from Illinois, Obama also said the Bush administration "was colorblind in its incompetence."

Fox News host Sean Hannity said the speech "contains some of the most divisive class warfare and racially charged rhetoric ever used by Barack Obama."

I took this from the link you used to make the charge of being racially divisive.....oh by the way if you go back and look at news clips of Katrina you will not see many white folks begging for help.

I actually do not think that Obama has an instinctive hate for white people.......that would mean at birth he hated his own mother who was white, hated on sight his grandparents......No dude I really don't think that. But what I do think is that you think that - and that is more scary to me than Iran having the bomb.

What someone on a forum thinks is more scary to you than Iran having a nuclear bomb? You have interesting priorities. 8-)

What the uproar is about is that then candidate Obama told the ministers present that the federal government withheld federal disaster relief due to the the New Orleans community not coming up with their 10% of matching funds, something that then candidate Obama said had been waved for the victims of Andrew and also for 911 in New York... the crux of his speech was the the white power brokers in DC did not care about the predominately black population of New Orleans... remember who the audience of this speech was... Now it is being reported that at the time that Obama gave this speech that not only had the federal government already appropriated something in the range of $125 billion but that as a sitting senator that our president was well aware of this fact...

So yes, to many it will look like fear mongering and race baiting, something that I still feel I see the president do in his current campaign... If the country really paid attention this would be a big deal, but of course the press won't follow up, they are already saying that it was 5 years ago so it is unimportant yet they crucify Romney for Bain and the activities of Bain that occurred long after he left.

But you shouldn't worry, the press has got your guy's back.

Part of the problem is people are going to the Huffington Post for the info and they have put there spin on it.
If you listen to the ENTIRE speech on Daily Caller you will hear what he actually said rather than what HP claims he said.
That is why the Daily Caller put all 45 minutes of it on-line so they could not be accused of cherry picking.

Those who only read HP don't get the whole story.
Although I seriously doubt that they would believe it after they see it.

Why are you like all the other fanatical Obamaites and always play the race card when people oppose your lord and master.

I'm not afraid of black people at all, unlike you who keeps harping on the fact. What I am afraid of is Obama getting a second term and socializing this great country!

Has anyone seen the February 2012 Obama video announcing the start of the "Black Americans For Obama" campaign? I cannot remember the link, but essentially, he ties it in with Black History month and states "we blacks must stick together". Most of his rhetoric was tied to that theme, "vote for me because I am black". IMHO, this person, whose sole mission is to protect and preserve the constitutional rights of all Americans, has been the most devisive political leader of all time. Would it be racist for his opponent to launch a "White Americans for Romney" campaign?

It was established a long time ago that most of the failure in New Orleans was due to the mayor of the city and State Governor. The aid was given and help was sent but the graft in the City diverted it from the people that needed it. Yet Bush is blamed for everything because he did not know how to react on the spur of the moment to one of the worst natural disasters in history. Nest to Katrina 2011 has been named the worst year for natural disasters in history for the United States. 35 billion in damge and 700 dead. Where is the news about Obama jumping in to help the affected States?

Most of the actual racist discussion held over the last 4 years have come from the Democrat side. Isn't Joe Biden putting on a fake southern accent and pretending to be black a form of racism by todays' definition?

Hannity was making the point that the President who was expected to end racism has done nothing but foster it. It is much easier to blame it on Bush.
