There are photographers/artists who have taken images of people from the past and changed the image to what they would look like today. I chose Thomas Jefferson.
Interesting project. Looks like Thomas Jefferson's modern-day persona could be interchanged with Robert Redford.

Good eye, stogieboy; Redford is who I chose to help make this transformation.
Interesting, would you be willing to take a little time and tell us how you did it?

Thank you, Curmudgeon; here is how I did it:
Step 1. I found a good sized portrait of Jefferson and saved the image. (attachment 1)
Step 2. I cut and pasted a section of Jefferson's portrait onto a photograph of Robert Redford because I thought Redford had similar enough features as Jefferson. (attachment 2)
Step 3. I then placed the section of Jefferson's face on Redford's image and lined it up, soft erasing enough of Jefferson's face to have it blend in properly with Redford's. I also did some color adjustments as well.

Sorry for the hijack of your post but how about the other way around? Tim Grey, the Laughing Cavalier and Willie Nelson in Armor.
Your work is very good and I know how hard it is to pull off.
