I made it out to Yates Mill Pond yesterday and tried out a new to me Tamron lens 100-400mm. Also took some photos last night of the convergence of planets with my Canon 600mm f11 lens and a 2x convertor. Was not able to get the convergence due to trees blocking the view and my inability to find an open area. Did capture the moon. All photos were taken with my Canon R5 body. All details will be with each photo. All photos were hand held except the last photo which was on a tripod. Thank your for stopping by, and to all who view this post, Have a Very Merry CHRISTmas.

No Christmas star shots for me either, Greg, because of the same problems, but I did get to see it through the trees. Beautiful shots with your new 100-400!
