It finally got above 70, so my truck and I took off for the Arboretum. It's always a place to see beautiful things. So, for all of you stuck in snow and freezing temps, this is OUR winter! Enjoy!
(Shot in Monday, 12/21.) I look forward to your comments.

Thanks, Jim. I do too. Their blooms are beautiful. But they are so high up that it's hard to get a really good shot of them.

And outside of that, you've got nothing pretty to show us. Seriously, a beautiful job of photographing. Things I'd never see in northern Illinois.
Love shooting in Az. For my sibilings and I it's our second home, and I love running all over the state shooting. You have some nice shots there.
As soon as this covid stuff is done I'm going to take a month off and travel out to Az, NM, Utah and Co. Sort of a retirement party.
Lucky you! Love the cactus in bloom!

I grew up in Illinois, and I remember well the dull, colourless days of winter! Thanks, Lynn.

If you wait for Covid to be over, you'll have a LONG wait. Go anyway. Stay outside as much as possible. (I've traveled some this year, sleeping in my truck and dining in truck stops. I was probably as safe there as at home!

Thanks! The cactus blooms are beautiful. There's one that's fixing to bloom that has them lower down on the cactus. I'm going to keep watch on it and maybe be able to get a better shot of the bloom itself.
Sadly, they won't let me cross the border in my truck, else I would be enjoying your beautiful weather! Please stay safe over the holidays and keep on sharing.
A beautiful set, Kathy. The cactus is really nice.
I enjoyed your outing, Kathy Great variety!

Sorry about that. Don't know where you might be coming from, but many people are coming. And thanks!

Thank you. Those cardon are first cousins to our saguaro. In fact, I can't tell them apart.
