The glasses are what happens getting pictures while wearing a mask in sunny Seattle. All done on the way to work today.

Interesting set! My son spent a year there and this is familiar weather.

Thanks for looking Mike. The weather between 3 and 4 this afternoon was ridiculous. Build an ark type rain. Tried to take some pictures, so we will see if there are any interesting things to come.

Looks like you made the best of it. What smartphone model are you shooting with?

Nice photos, and I really like the treatment/format.

I like this series, captivecookie, and even more, I admire your receptive, eclectically encompassing eye!

Keep ‘em coming!
You’re good!

You make frequent comment on Seattle weather.
An old friend, the late Dr. Jim Foster, once told me the only thing harder to understand than someone from Seattle with no umbrella is someone going TO Seattle without an umbrella!

I have a friend that lives just outside of Seattle. On our first trip we spent 4 days there. It rained the first two days and then it rained the last 2 days. My friend never missed a beat showing us around in the rain, no umbrella to be found. Every so often my friend would say, " Hey look, there's a sun break". She would point to a sliver of sun trying to break through the clouds. I told her our idea of a sun break in Ky was sitting under a tree in the shade. LOL. Washington State is a beautiful place but I don't think I could take the weather.

It's a Samsung note 9. Then in phone apps. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for your comments, Dave. I own two umbrellas, and they are both safely secured from the weather in the trunk of my car.

Just looking at those, I think you’ve succeeded in capturing the essence of downtown Seattle. It’s a unique town.

I'm coming up with a theory that every town has things in it that are indicative of what makes up the town, but as it's not often captured, it comes out as something cool when finally noticed. To prove this theory i will have to take a thousand pictures in every town, and then my thesis will be complete.
