Tonights Moon 10-2-12

Tonight was overcast and cloudy but I managed to get some decent pictures between the clouds. Nikon D90- Sigma 50-500mm lens. 500mm, ISO 200, F8, 1/320 sec set on manual.

I too had trouble at first and everyone suggester taking them at higher F stop and real slow speed but I could never get a good photo. MT Shooter said that he took them at F8 from 250 sec and up at ISO 200 that works great for me and I usually get best results at about 320sec. My eyes aren't too good so I sometimes have aa problem getting the focus sharp.

Ya that gettin older thingie aint all its cracked up to be..... I will have to force myself to use the tripod I guess I get decent shots, but not great ones. Thanks
