I always skim through the responses, hoping you have commented so I know what I am looking at. I also like the image and will let the poster know that. Thanks. Just a thought about this photograph and other images of the natural world and as a matter of fact just interacting out in nature with or without a camera and that is being able to identify things, plant or animal, allows us to "have" and enjoy them in a way that we would not be able to if we didn't know what we were looking at. The added pleasure we derive from knowing what we are looking at applies not only at the moment of seeing, but also later in our memories of the experience.

Well Rodeo Man I sometimes hesitate identifying things that people post because I'm afraid they may think I'm just trying to be a wise guy. Others think along your lines in wanting to know what it is they are looking at. Sorry dml for hijacking your thread.
