Buy a gently used Nikon D3 and there will be very little that you will be unable to do with it. It's a great camera to carry for wildlife for if you encounter an angry bear you can beat it senseless with it and it will continue to work as good as new.
Dan, I also have a D200 and a D750, and like both of them. For pictures on the computer, there isn't much difference between them.
Paul--I have a question. I have a Nikon D750 and a Sony Rx 10 IV. I bought the Sony for the reach but really like the Nikon for the full frame ability. I don't care what camera I use and since I live in Palm Desert, CA. there isn't a whole lot of great items to capture. I do have great sunsets an some some animals--roadrunners, birds, etc. but I'd like to start taking some serious quality pictures. I have the 24-105 lens for the Nikon and also the 70-300 zoom. I would like to go a step further in my ability and wondered what your thinking is about the newer mirrorless availability is and whether it's worth it to change. I like the Canon products but only have a small point and shoot, but it's a great little camera for what I do in taking pictures of buildings for insurance purposes.
I'd love to talk to you about this. If yu can call me, I think I'd get more out of it than a dialogue here. 760 333 3319,
Hug Curtis

Does anyone still own and/or shoot with the Nikon /D90? I presently shoot with the Nikon D600, but want a crop sensor camera for a second camera. Is the D90 still worth buying? I know the specs, only a 12.3 MP camera, so would like some advice from use.rs of the D90.
I have a friend that still uses a d40. He bought it new in about 2005ish he photos are beautiful. I was in hawaii in 2005 I used a 3.2mp minolta and they are beautiful too. I'm not a pixel peeper.

Same here. My Maui photos from 2007 with my D50 6.2MP and a kit lens are extraordinary.
