A visit to Whitby, North Yorkshire. UK

The rain has finally stopped so we drove over the moors to Whitby for lunch.

The last shot is a replica of HMS Bark Endeavour which was sailed by Captain James Cook during his scientific expedition of 1768 - it was traditionally built by Whitby craftsmen and stands in the water 40% of the original size.

Canon 650D, 18-55mm lens.

There are more restraints Whitby than any other town of compatible size in England, in a visit to Whitby some years ago in one resteraunt they had a choice of 25 main courses and 38 different deserts.
