The 1956 Continental from Ford Motor company was the most expensive US car produced in 1956. Selling at just under $10,000 dollars at the time it would be equivalent to around $95,000 dollars today. It was produced for only 2 years, 1956-1957, and only a total 3005 were ever produced. Although it shared some of Ford's mechanical components at the time it was mostly hand built, and Ford lost over $1000 dollars for each one produced.

A couple of interior shots would be nice too. What bothers me when I see commercials for luxury cars is that most times they don't show much of the interior. After all, that's what makes a luxury car luxurious!!

She is a dream come true. I would love to have that car. The closest I had ever gotten was an 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88. Close but not the prize this one was. Cars in those days were tanks that guzzled gas as if it was going out of style.

I have found interior shots are difficult. Start with a monopod. A shutter release will help. Use a wide angle 28mm lens. Any more and you will get distortion. If you are outside, use the Ultimate Lens Hood to block glare and reflections.

I will do interior shots, but it just wasn't practical on this particular day. Typically, all my shots are hand held, and I don't own, or use a monopod, but thanks. The shot below was done at 10,000 ISO, 1/80, and f/4.5 with a 24-70 lens on a D850

I hope I did not offend you with my suggestion. If I did, please accept my apology. That is a beautiful interior. The photographs do justice to the interior. I have an OBEN tripod. One leg actually unscrews you make a monopod. Not every where they allow tripods.
By the way, I love the face mask.

Thanks for another example of automobile design beauty from an earlier era. Outstanding.

No offense taken, no worries, knowledge not shared is only wasted :)
The interior shot was of a custom/hotrod 1938 Chevy coupe, and a gorgeous car all around
