Hello.
Windows 10 and Wacom. When I start Lightroom the tablet doesn’t switch to the custom configuration I have created. The Wacom utility does show the Lightroom icon.
Any suggestions?

I'll watch this post because I have had some problems with my Wacom tablet using Windows 10. Two of the problems I have are, 1) my computer won't recognize that I have a tablet so I have to uninstall and reinstall it (occurs at least once a month and Wacom support has not been able to help), 2) I have given up using the custom settings for PS, LR, Luminar, etc. I set them up and they disappear. I do save them and reload them but I got tired of doing that (and it doesn't always work).
Otherwise, the tablet works great using the same settings for each program

Does this happen after every time Win 10 updates? I just had an update a few days-week ago. I'm interested because thinking of getting a Wacom.

Since I can not get it to work at all it’s not related to a Windows update.
Also, win10 sometimes randomly disables a USB port, then re-enables it, even on my laptop.
When I saw that a number of folks were having issues I did some internet searching.
Based on that I took the following steps:
1. uninstalled the Wacom software using the free IOBit Uninstaller, which says it removes all associated leftovers
2. performed a registry clean using free CCleaner app
3. in the Windows/system32 and Windows/syswow64 folders changed the name of wintab.dll file to xwintab.dll
4. restarted computer
5. downloaded and installed the Wacom driver (same version I had before - the latest)
6. restarted computer
7. connected Wacom tablet. Verified "Use Windows Ink" was checked
8. started Lightroom and added Lightroom to the apps display in Wacom app
9. configured the tablet to my Lightroom settings
10. verified that tablet was responding to my settings
11. shutdown and restarted computer three different times and checked that all three times tablet was responding to my Lightroom settings
