Absolutely amazing. For eight years the longest exposure is unbelievable. I don’t think any device could reproduce an exposure of this complexity.
Tracking REGINA VALKENBORGH down would be an interesting project. Don’t you wonder what she thinks of her photo and its notoriety?
Any info on the size of the pinhole?
Does anyone know if it was a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can or an off brand?
Eric Renner, The Pin Hole Resource. He has published two volumes on the pin hole camera. I'm certain that her work is archived in Eric's care. His books are a wealth of images and stories of unusual making of pinhole images, you might find it a whole lot of fun to read.

As far as I’m concerned Pabst Blue Ribbon IS an off brand. 😜🤪
I tried that a few years before I retired. Set up a pinhole camera on the ledge by my office and ignored it as long as I could. I think it stayed there close to 5-6 months.
I used a homemade pinhole camera. Made it from 1/2 of a plastic laundry detergent bucket. For the "film" I used an 8X10 sheet of black & white paper. Over time, the light from the sun shining thru the pinhole would darken the paper. When I took it out, rather than using chemicals to develop it (would have rendered the paper entirely black) I ran it through my scanner and reversed the image in PP.
