I have been using Affinity Photo and, like others, I have found the size of icons is too small for these tired old eyes. I am using a 25 inch 1440 monitor.
**What monitor sizes are others using to help with this issue?
I would like to find a way to use Affinity Photo, but...
...I find that I frequently revert to an old version of Photoshop Elements for comfort.
**If I get PS Elements 2021 what will I be not getting? I am a casual user and mostly use Olympus RAW files, tone/color curves, selections, retouching, noise reduction, and stacking.
Questions?
Thanks
I find that I frequently revert to an old version of Photoshop Elements for comfort. Yes, we revert to what we know, my old house shoes is PSP, tho I did get a 2021. Also got Luminar Ai, waiting for them to give me the S#.
My complaint is that when watching demos the photo on my 50" screen is great, but the control sliders are small.
I have special computer glasses. Strong like reading but focused at 30" ... this may help:

You don't need the serial number to run the program. It populates your license when you download and run the program from your skylum.com account/my software. When you run the program, it asks you to sign in and then your license is populated. That is how it worked for me any way.
Part of the issue is that as resolution increases with newer monitors, things appear sharper but smaller. You can change the displayed size of everything. On your Windows desktop, right click, choose "Display settings" from the dropdown menu, and under "Scale & layout" change the value to 125% in the box labelled "Change size of text, apps and other items".
For what it's worth, I do my editing with Affinity on a 13" MacBook screen without a problem. For my tired old (84 years) eyes, I take off my bifocals and put on my 2.50X cheaters ($3.00 at Ocean State Job Lot) and I'm ready to go. I also use PSE-21, just recently bought) for some tasks.
