Oh wow I love eagles and this is a great photo. I just bought an R5 and hav a 100-500 on order. How do you like the R5?

Seeing the results from the R5 in your hands is the best recommendation for it there could be. 4000 ISO!!! WOW!
And, clearly NOT a good day to be a rodent or a fish.

Fantastic camera that does everything well. I have the Canon 100-500. Great very sharp lens that can close focus to 3 feet to infinity and is rugged and weather resistant. Don't forget the RF 800 for $900. Super sharp and light-weight. This photo was taken with the RF 800 under cloudy, foggy skies.

I have 12,000 ISO photos that are noise free. The skies were foggy and hazy with no sunshine when I took this photo. The Eagles were slightly more than 200 feet away. Thank you very much, Photocraig.

Absolutely. Cloudy skies (this photo) or sunshine, this $900 lens is very sharp and lightweight (2.77 lbs.). This lens should be used with the R5 for best results.
