All cameras are full frame... You should not drool over so-called 'full frames'. Many not.so.called.full.frame are as good if not better then their full.frame siblings.

For info, no one can tell you if it is a good deal since you do not mention a price...

Be warned that the D600 had issues.

The seller / trader should be able to provide documentation of repair for the oil spot issue. If not, they should be offering the camera for free. There's too many great used FF bodies in the market to get money involved in this problem model.

BTW - where / what is your FX lens(es) for this body?

Price is 525.00 for D600, and thanks for the heads up.

Not all D600's had the oil spot issue. I purchased a D600 on the used market. I sent it to Nikon expecting the shutter to be replaced. I was told by the technicians that my D600 did not require shutter replacement.

If it did would that be free of charge, no matter how old it is ?

They stopped performing the replacement work even when the camera was still under support, not the situation now in Dec 2020.

The free shutter replacement program ended January 2020.

That's not how I remember Nikon's approach in 2014-15, but a quick google does confirm this program seems to have continued to run into early this year.

Jim,
I have a D600 and had all the factory updates and is very well repaired...
Now as far as you trading your d7100 with lens for 525 for the d600 is quite high, take a look at these with no trade in;

Forget it. Nothing especially tempting. Plenty other options. Sticking with SLRs more options as every day passes and ever more users leave SLRs behind.
