Who would have thought that you could have found such interesting architecture on the backroads of Tennessee. These are some of the buildings on the campus of Montgomery Central High School in Cunningham,Tennessee. IPhone 8+ 18mm wide lens.

I swear, Fstop, you well qualify as a superb promotional photographer for the Tennessee/ Kentucky Tourist Bureau- without resorting to a single “Smoky Mtn”, “bluegrass” or “thoroughbred” equine image!
Good job!

Looks like the taxpayers got soaked big time for this campus.

The architecture is impressive and well photographed. I wonder how many students attending this school take note of the incredible surroundings in which their classes are held.

Montgomery Central High School is a high school located in Cunningham, Tennessee, an unincorporated suburban community outside Clarksville. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. It has a GreatSchools rating of 8 out of 10.[2] The Montgomery Central Middle School is situated on an adjacent site.

The school building was completed around 1970. It is an unusual structure situated on a man-made lake and featuring concrete shell construction.[3][4] Major renovations and an expansion were begun in 2010 that would maintain and enhance the forty-year-old pod structures.[5] The project is funded with an interest free bond administered under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.[6]

Is that due to flooding, or is there water surrounding those buildings at all times?

Very cool, thank you for sharing!

LOL, Being a homegrown Ky boy, I am a bit prejudice to the beautiful Bluegrass state. The horsefarms around Lexington Ky are gorgeous in any season. The Distilleries especially the campus of Maker's Mark in Lorreto,Ky is beautiful.
