Next image of the conjunction, as it closes in.
Maybe none tonight due to clouds.
Same 1 second exposure.

Thanks alberio!
I hope you don't mind me piggy-backing on your post.
Just trying to offer images from my perspective behind my 80mm telescope.
Looks to be cloudy here tonight...
Every night when I'm doing my alignment (Modeling in Losmandy terms), I pick Alberio as one of my guide stars and remember what you told me about the little star peeking around Alberio...

I never mind the piggy-backing, it helps to see what others are doing regarding the same subject. Speaking of this subject, I pulled into Lake Havasu tonight and managed to catch the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn with a slight color hue in the light clouds. I increased the saturation for the cloud colors, but it made Jupiter and Saturn a bit weird. This was with my newly acquired 120-300 f2.8 lens. I have to learn better white balance and focusing skills.

Nothing last night.
I had waves of really aggravating clouds blowing in from the North.
It's clear! It's not. It's clear! It's not. All damned evening!
I finally gave up.
Thanks SonnyE,
I've been messing around with camera lenses for these shots, but I'm getting prepared for the 21st with the telescope. We're supposed to have clear skies, very little wind but pretty chilly. Tonight was 15-20 steady winds.

The only filter I know of for wind is my 8 foot back wall.
But it's a dual band filter.
It also filters out Condolands glare.
