I recall in grad school there was one guy who was doing laboratory experiments. He needed some electronics so he had a circuit board made for the purpose. Then he needed to connect it to his equipment. He got a hammer and some nails and nailed the circuit board to the table.

If I remember correctly he had a conversation with an empty chair at a RepublicanNational Convention . He didn’t come across looking particularly intelligent.
