I have always liked taking pictures, even owned a SLR camera at one time, back in the old days of film, so many pictures turned out awful that I switched to a PHD (push here dummy) and never went back, film being too expensive to process awful pictures :). Last year I went to Tenn. with my fairly decent Point & Shoot camera and had so much fun with all the barns and churches ! I took some really great shots (in my and my families eyes anyway) This year I went back looking forward to more of the same until my camera drowned in my purse! NEVER PUT A WATER BOTTLE, CAMERA AND PHONE IN THE SAME PURSE ! Time for a new camera, not ready to go to the expense of a DSLR and various lenses I opted for a Cannon SX 30is and I am now IN LOVE...
These pictures were taken at a my best friends daughters wedding where I was helping with things as well as a guest so I was unable to take as many pictures as I would have liked, in addition I didn't want to be in the photographers way or obtrusive to the other guests. But I did have fun the day before while helping to ready the farm and at the rehearsal. The couple had so many great ideas!
I look forward to your suggestions/comments. These have been processed some but I am learning that as well :)
part of the wedding site the day before, so glad it cleared up the next day :)
liked the softness of the sheers and the brightness of her flowers and the corn field
I edited out the mic and stand, left in the silo as that was part the charm of the venue and why the stood where the did. post used color efex pro graduated filters to add blue to sky as the sky was to white behind them washing them out in the org
