Longer exposure needed.

I recently saw a post of a rocket launch that showed a nice long arc across the sky. I decided to give it a try last night. Well, I should have taken note of the exposer time, mine was a little short.
The first shot was taken while waiting for the launch, the next three are 15 seconds each, guess I need to use a longer exposure.

Like them all; love second to last. Very interesting color rendition.

Yes, if you want an arc, you have to wait for it to develop. I put my D7200 on Bulb and held it open until the rochet vanished, 132 seconds. It seems like they are kinda slow so be patient.

The 3rd one is very effective. Combining the shots in Photoshop should give results close to what I think you were planning.
No such dramatic subjects around here I'm afraid. :(
