December is also the start of apple tree pruning season; especially if you own a large orchard like my neighbor's. Pentax K-7/DAL 55-300 ED. The trees must be pruned correctly to give maximum production. Cold, hard work here in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania.

The trees and the background weeds mirror how hard it is to the extent that it almost looks like they're trying to snare the worker...
