My first shots of a Cooper's Hawk...He didn't seem to be bothered by me at all, he just wanted his meal...Hope you enjoy this beautiful bird....

A very fine set of beautiful photos, but I'm thinking you have a Red-shouldered hawk here.

These are striking images, Namwife. They project to me the exceptional pectoral muscle development required to fly as these birds do. And to carry, often out sized prey away.

Birds have their own quiet beauty that can be appreciated while sitting and looking, as well as flying.
