Somehow there are 2 pictures folders in my File Explorer. I only want one. Is there an easy way to fix this without losing any photos?

Thanks, Don

There’s ways, but some risk. Better to let it be. Even if all goes well, some time later when you find you have two again, then what ?

They are in different locations I'll bet, maybe one under "My Documents"?
Windows puts that one there, a default directory Windows creates under My Documents.
Where is the other?

Do the folders contain the same pictures? Maybe one is in the "quick access" section at the top of the list? If yes, I think there's a way to delete the quick access feature.

Can you post a screen shot of the folders?

If you are using File Explorer is one of them is under Quick Access? If it is, both entries refer to the same folder.

Yep. I posted my suggestion that Quick Access might be the reason before I saw your post. You can right click on a Quick Access folder and unpin it from Quick Access.

First make sure it really is in two places. File explorer shows recently used folders under 'quick access' at the top so it can look like two places. Click 'this pc' to see what folders are really where.

Look at the Properties of the folder and find the location. With that info you can copy the files to where ever you want then do what ever you want with the folder with the redundant files.

Be careful. File explorer puts links to frequently used folders at the top of the list under the heading "Quick access." This is not a folder but a link to the real folder containing your information. It is a convenience thing. You can click on this link to open the folder instead of chasing it down through the explorer levels. I like this feature myself.

You can remove the quick access link by right clicking on it and choosing "remove from quick access." This removes the link but not the real folder.

What looks like pictures in a quick access feature are most likely just shortcuts, not actual image files, and would not use any storage space at all.

The quick access feature is simply a shortcut to the actual folder. When you use it you see the actual folder.
