"What's wrong, dear?" asked her mother.
"My doll! Billy broke it!" she sobbed.
"How did he break it, Emily?"
"I hit him over the head with it."

Billy is at fault for not ducking fast enough. This is obvious for anyone to see.

Reminded me of my oldest daughter when she was about 4 yrs old playing with a friend in the yard.

I know you’re right, but the election is long over, and it’s really LONG overdue to quit this polarization and divisiveness. We have a common challenge in this country, and this constant demonization of those on the other side is just non productive (and tiresome). I know it’s possibly meant in humor, but the mean spiritedness and treating those with political differences as enemies has just gone so far in this country that I’m now sensitized to it and thoroughly sick of it (and admin is also). Political posts belong in the attic, where all the commenter’s other posts are, not in Chit Chat.
Please excuse my rant. There’s an old expression that a million ducks can peck you to death, and this particular subject/transgression is my millionth duck.
