Sunrise on the Moon

I like to shoot the moon, so to speak, when it is not full in order to capture the shadows along the terminator. Notice the illuminated mountain peaks in the dark area along the bottom where the sun is just rising. Shot with a Sony a6300 and Sony 70-350 at 350mm, f6.3, 1/400, ISO 800.

Hi aginzu: Have you gotten any photos of the X and Y or Golden Handle features on the moon. This capture, you were very close to the X and Y features. If you have never seen them you can do some research to see and find them or I could send you some that I have captured. Good luck on your efforts. There may be others on this forum that have better captures than mine. Thanks for your photo, good detail. I used a Nikon p900.
