rappar Loc: Kingston Ontario

I have a file downloaded that contains links that are to take me to other sites either for more information or for certain items the individual suggests, in my case for home workouts.

This opened in Preview but all of the links were dead, they did nothing when clicked on. I did a spotlight search of my hard drive and nothing came up for Reader as I thought I would try that. I finally got Reader from a TimeMachine backup as trying to download it from the Adobe site just hung.

However, the links do not open even when I open the file in Reader.

I have gone to the Adobe site and followed instructions as to how to stop it from blocking sites, done what it suggested with no luck at all. As I say, I am running Big Sur and, until this problem, everything was going well.

Anyone have anything else I can try?
