Bird's Custard? Then you MUST have the pudding.

Sylvia, Since this is a photography forum, first things first. Very well captured image of what looks to be a great meal of a roast with root vegetables. That being said, there are some questions on terminology from across the pond. Is Christmas pudding a sausage or is that the dessert in the 2nd image. If it's a sausage (what happen to banger??) where is it on the plate? Not sure we recognize what everything is and what names might apply to them.

By way of comparison for our Thanksgiving this year we opted to go with our family tradition of roasted swan and veggies with pumpkin pie for dessert (no pics).

Our first lockdown in the UK due to covid started in March and lasted for two months. Since mid May it was relaxed but infections started to rise and at the start of November another lockdown was put in place. Our four weeks in lockdown due to the pandemic is over so today we visited our favourite garden centre to buy winter plants and have lunch in the cafe.

These fun shots were taken with my smartphone.

Please try the downloads.

I'm almost afraid to ask what is on the plate on the lower left side?

Known as pigs in blankets. Tiny sausages wrapped in streaky bacon cooked in the oven...very tasty.
Thank you very much for looking in and making me smile.

Great shots Sylvia. We are just starting a restrictive lockdown in California due to a low inventory of ICU beds. It didn't stop our governor from having a $600/plate dinner for 12 at The French Laundry!
