Surely the emergency is right now. That's why it's called an emergency.
Kudos to the Brits who have the sense to know what is and what is not an emergency.
How many more will ultimately die while we wait for bureaucracy. ?

As I understand the situation it is to give the FDA scientists time to do their own independent analysis of the study data rather than accepting what would clearly be biased conclusions from the manufacturers.

Only a dictator could pull off that kind of forced confinement. Had Trump been the dictator he wanted to be then maybe if he would have acted like a dictator-leader he could have corralled the v***s. But he was neither a dictator, nor a democratically elected leader. He was a failure as POTUS, and a LOSER as an incumbent.

So the next period in history that you refer to is more aptly PT -- Post Trump.

Trump has had w***e s*******y-r****t-classist agenda from day one. Once the stats for the deaths started showing the majority of the fatalities were among non-w****s he simply ignored the v***s.

The FDA has over-sight responsibility.
To suggest that Company scientists would willfully endanger the public is irresponsible.

It’s become political now. FDA/CDC are waiting for Biden’s inauguration. All will be approved that night

That is FDA political hogwash. The UK has higher standards of acceptance that we do. Once a drug is approved there, it’s gone through much rigorous scrutiny that we ever do. I worked with the UK inspection groups and I know from fact that they are more conscientious than we ever were. That’s one of the reasons why drugs from UK and Canada are not available nor approved here. Our FDA is full of outdated stall warts and has been for years. But yet the FDA allows junk drugs to be imported from India

Oh yeah??? Then how do you explain the junk generics imported from India? Or don’t you know about the lax India standards?
