[quote=aleone63]Good Day all you Beautiful Hedgehogs. As many of you know I am a cancer survivor as many of you are and October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and breast cancer awareness is all about the PINK.
Some pink for the ladies!
Yesterday was my darling daughters 19th birthday! As many of you know, she was adopted at birth... we already had her brother Gabriel who we got at 4 mo. old as a foster baby...birth mom was 13...when she was 15 she came and said she was again pregnant and didnt want the state to take her baby... she was 15...we had her move in with us until my daughter was born and then stay for the 6 week check up...since she is part Indian she had three years to change her mind...we wanted her to be sure! Estee Arianne Zorea was born and placed directly into my arms. She is my only daughter and I cant even begin to explain the deep love I have for that child!

Cant seem to find much pink - loads of red, but not pale red!
But found these flamingo - hint of pink - on Lake Baringo, Kenya and one last pink Rose still blooming in my tiny garden - a splash of colour!

The face is Dame Edna Everidge, the famous Aussie female impersonator who, it has just been announced, has retired. He has hung up her knickers for good! The photo was taken at Sydney Madame Tussaud's Waxworks. ISO1600 1/80 sec. I had just done another shot at 1/13 hand held and didnt drop the ISO back as I could have.
The other is taken at Darling Harbour, Sydney. Madam Tussaud's is next to the Sydney Aquarium whose entrance lights are visible in the medium distance just under the bridge with the crisscross bracing. ISO800 1/6 sec with Nikon VR on, handheld. About 20 mins after sunset.
