I really enjoyed the Ravens in Moab. These were much closer!

Using the Canon R5 & 100-400 II. Used eye tracking which more or less worked, it went for the beak as much as the eye, but there is more contrast there and being on the same plane, the focus worked. The last 2 the exposure went wonky (I shoot AV mode and set the ISO) but it made for some nice high key B&W.

These are rather good. Most of that is because of you, of course, but the rest is because the ravens in Moab are... well..... rather good, too. Even the ones --like in #4-- who have their heads on backwards.

Very good - black birds and white birds, IMO equally difficult!

Yes, me too! This was my first outing with it. So far so good. Don’t like the battery life...

84.384% of Moab's ravens agree that Cheetos mean "You Love Me!" The remaining 15.616%? Umm, let's just say, 'don't leave your car keys anywhere visible.'

Extraordinary captures beautifully rendered, both in colour and in B&W. There are a couple of other R5 users posting excellent images - it is a very capable camera in the right hands, and clearly you will soon be leading the pack, if you are not already. Kudos. Your timing is excellent and you have captured these ravens with something that I can only classify as foresight into what the bird was thinking and about to do next. Beautiful wildlife photography. Please stay well and keep on sharing the excellent work.
