In a recent photo challenge the subject was Fork. I decided to try out my macro tube on my new 35mm lens on a kitchen fork. A few texture layers later this is the results.
I haven't been able to post much the last couple of months and I do miss you all. My wife fell and broke her knee so things have been a little hectic here on the home front playing caregiver. She is back up and walking without assistance now so hopefully I have a little more time. I hope you are all doing well and able to get out and enjoy our hobby, safely, as much as you can in these strange times.
Like it, especially the downloads.
Beautifully rendered abstraction. Please stay well and share when you can.
Without you mentioning it was a fork you photographed I would never had suspected it. I’ve thinking outside the box. As for your family life good to hear getting back to normal.

Thank you Frank. I have been focusing more on the technical aspects of post processing and not so much on the creative side. It felt good to to explore on this one.
Interesting picture. I appreciate the skill that went into producing it. If you hadn't told us there was a fork there, I would have never seen it. This is an example of your amazing abstract skills.

Very diplomatically spoken Jack!
I never really cared for abstracts until I started in photography but they have grown on me.
