Better you than me. Your pictures are really nice.

We get some snow every year. Some years more than others. This morning my car had a light dusting. No snow on the ground.

This is what happened in a matter of 14 hours and is not supposed to stop for another 6 hours! The snow on the cover of hot tub is 13 inches and all our cars or stuck in our driveway

Beautiful to look at, I'M glad I no longer have to work in the snows these days, drove a wrecker over 20 yrs. Now retired and I don't go out in bad weather unless I just want to.
We haven't had a hard winter here in quite awhile, so we are probably due for one

I grew up in Buffalo NY and lived there up to 2 years ago. A few years back we had 6 feet of snow in two days in a November storm. Fun

Very nice but I can do without it. Glad it's in your neighborhood and not mine.

Having never had that happen in coastal California, your snow looks very intriguing! But can totally understand why it might lose it’s appeal!

Photography, Snow ball fights, Snow mobiles, & skiing. That's all it is good for unless your melting it for water. Hope you don't have to go out driving in it for a while.

As a kid I grew up in Berea and it seems like we always had quite a bit of snow but not like that. Back then (the 50's) it didn't melt so fast -- you had snow on the ground for a long time. Now I live out in the country near Johnstown, Ohio and we woke up to what looked like a fairyland yesterday morning. Just about all of it is still there too.

Marcia, we are in the "snow belt" so it is always worse here. I'm going to venture out...we will see how far I get.

Wow, you got a dump, Fran! I used to live in Canada on the shore of Lake Ontario. We all skied then so it was great. We have a daughter still there. We don’t visit her in the winter!

One of those a year is about all I could take, Fran! The first one is beautiful, but after that one, it’s a PITA.

Nightmare and a most beautiful sight at the same time. Hope you don't have a power failure, because that's when the real nightmare begins if you don't have a generator. The photos are beautiful, Fran.

One thing I don't miss about winter is getting off work at one o'clock in the morning having to figure out which pile of snow was my car under to go home. It was 39 degrees here this morning which is enough make remember why I don't miss northern winters.
