Migration South

Last Saturday started as a cold but clear day. I've been watching the birds come thru this part of Michigan on their way South for several weeks now. Many of the ducks have already headed out but the Canada Geese are still around in large numbers. Sat by the marsh for 2 or 3 hrs just watching & listening to them. They make a terrific racket, honking & squawking, just before they take to the air. Not sure if they are encouraging each other or arguing about who gets to lead.

Really nice! I love doing BIF but have hard time with flocks. I think you have it nailed.
