Can't get out much, so I play in the studio when I get a chance. I thought, "You know? People take still life photos of flowers all the time. They are bright and pretty. Why not look at the beauty of flowers that are waning?" Still life fell right into that.

The lens ball adds so much to your arrangement - I'm going to have to keep that in mind for Christmas shots.
Alot of my still lifes during quarantine involve food, Or gardening, and some are taken with a tablet, but here are a few to start, including the pumpkin pancakes I made this morning out of leftover pumpkin from the cheesecake.

This is from my husband's grandfathers business. The whistle was on his rendering plant. We had the sign from the plant framed. The creamer mug was advertising.
