This is another one of my serious attempts to gather information for my edification. I'm a politically issue-oriented independent, conservative on some issues, liberal on others. I try to understand both sides. When it comes to the Constitution, I'm definitely a conservative.

I don't like Trump. I think, on balance, he's been a negative influence on the health and welfare of our great republic. But I agree that he has done some positive things.

I am seriously interested in understanding what Trump supporters see as his achievements as president. Can we engage in a discussion on this without insults and other nastiness? I hope so.

It' not that difficult to see the good things and/or not good things that Trump has done in his first 3 years. The overturnijng of Obama;s executive orders withy regard to Coirporate income taxesv(the highest in the world, he brought $billions honme. Companies, brought manufacturing home.Corporate profits went up, so the "the market" was up over %50. Average income went up. unemployment was the lowest across all ethnic gropups in history. n#We became energy independant Due to ending of restrictions. We became a net exporter of Energy. ending reliance of foreign coiuntries for the first time in over 50 years. Trump moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem as other presidents did not (as they had promised). Brokered peace with Israel and 2 aram countries. Then the v***s. He did some things right and others (in hindsight) that were not. But a very good arguement could be made that Biden is the first president to have been elected by a v***s

First of all, you are not an independent, don't lie about it. Trump's accomplishments in his first 3 years go beyond any other president in modern history. If you were a free thinker you would acknowledge at least part of that.

Second, ask yourself these questions about the fourth year of Trump's presidency.

Who shut down flights from China? • Trump. •Someone else.

Who proposed and led a relief bill to help the American people? • Trump. •Someone else.

Who rallied the people around the case against China? • Trump. •Someone else.

Who solved the ventilator and PPE shortage? • Trump. •Someone else.

Under who was a test for the v***s found in record time? • Trump. •Someone else.

Who fast tracked the v*****e and delivered it with operation Warp Speed in world record time? • Trump. •Someone else.

Who stayed in their basement offering nothing but deinals of allegations? • Trump. •Someone else.

Single biggest achievement is judicial appointments. Then we have withdrawing from the Iran Nuclear Deal and from the Paris Accords. Just those two things are sufficient to get my v**e even without the judicial appointments.

Then we have tax cuts keeping us out of any new wars, drawing down our troops in the places we are still involved in, increasing military funding back closer to pre Obama levels, Moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to their national capital, the peace deals between several Arab nations and Israel, and doing his best to keep campaign promises to build a wall on the southern border and do away with the affordable care act. He failed to finish either task, but has at least built some wall and gotten rid of the individual mandate.

The final thing that got my support is how he has dealt with the p******c. He correctly left decisions up to state government even knowing that could cost hm the e******n. And his operation warp speed has led to the development of three v*****es in the United States in less than a year, an incredible accomplishment.

There are plenty of other things he did well, but this should be a good start.

The single best thing that Trump has done, and his signature accomplishment may be "Operation Warp Speed) It usually takes 3 or more YEARS to bring a v*****e to market. Trump may have done it in 10 MONTHS.
