Media failing one narrative to continue another

It seems the media have decided it is more important to continue stoking C****av***s Panic Porn than it is to bash all things GOP or Trump. I'm old enough to remember 3 months back when the media mocked Trump for suggesting that higher numbers of tests were responsible for confirming a higher number of cases, but take a peek at what the media is posting today. Apparently, an editor somewhere forgot that the contrapositive of a true if-then statement is also true, and allowed a t***hful article to be printed suggesting that fewer tests over the next few weeks might confirm fewer cases....

If fewer positive cases implies fewer tests were performed, then the logical t***h is that greater testing must occur for higher numbers to be confirmed. Seems mocking Trump was an abject lie..... or that today's headline is.... it CAN'T be both or true or that both are false.
