This is definitely me. Sometimes, I don't want anything emotional, scary, or serious. I just want some light, mindless entertainment.

Please! I have my limits. From what people have said, they have one movie and one cast. They just change the scenery and the dialog a little bit.

I enjoy watching these ridiculous horror films with young adults in a cabin in the woods, getting killed off one by one. Most horror and disaster movies are laughable, and I like that type of thing.

Best I can determine your analysis of the Hallmark Channel is correct. In their defense I would point out that having no more than a few scripts and actors saves on production costs as little rehearsal is required and there is no need to have many writers.

Lots of people love their movies, so I guess they're doing something right.

That’s pretty much anything on TV.

We haven't been to a movie theater for YEARS. They've priced themselves through the roof and into outer space! Then they want $5 for a 10 cent bag of popcorn.
We go to a local thrift store, where they have lots of DVDs for $2. Hollywood is not going to get rich from MY pocket.

The John Wick films are entertaining, and not too intellectually demanding, although the death tallies are on par with some WW2 battles!

I find most Hallmark movies boring also. However my wife loves them. She says she likes "feel good movies". To each their own.

Talk about mindless; My son and I (he is 48) sat down after a nice thanksgiving dinner to watch some tv. and just happened to catch from the beginning, Aqua Man on TNT. Talk about mindless - Perfect!!! We never saw it before and probably won't want to see it again, but it did the trick.

We just started watching American Horror Story.
It's the first show we start with every night.

This is the BEST! "In Order of Disappearance" (starring Stellan Skarsgard). . .Ya gotta see it. . Several times! <smile>

And, while you're thinking along these lines. . .Enjoy "Vengeance" (starring Johnny Hallyday). . .

Actually, these are "feel good" movies! <smile>
