Thanksgiving is a time to reflect, remember and be thankful.
To all our Healthcare workers, First Responders, Educators, Nursing Home Workers and so many more - thank you, thank you, thank you. It has been a terrible year with all that you continue to do for everyone!
This is a bit closer to home for me because we have family members working in most of these careers. UHH attracts members from all career paths who share a passion for making and capturing fleeting images. Hopefully, many are visiting UHH over this long weekend and might see this small gesture of appreciation.
Join me, please.

I join you in expressing deep-felt gratitude and admiration for these folks that labor under such difficult and hazardous conditions..... Thank You!
Thank you very much for your considerations. I too am a Covid Warrior. I am a pharmacist in a major NYC hospital. Each day, I am greeted by patients in need of their medications. Many are frightened to be outside their home and not much less inside a hospital. But I like many others took an oath to care for others. That promise binds is to caring for others. And I will do it everyday, not for a paycheck. Many patients show their gratitude just by saying thank you. That is my paycheck.
Yes!! Thank you for this lovely expression for all those who go above and beyond! 💜😷
My daughter-in-law, a respiratory therapist, worked last night, is hosting dinner today, and is working tonight. I don’t know how she does it.
I mentioned how we do it. We all took an oath and there is a part of us that has a gift known as empathy. Very few people have that trait.

I am an RN. I worked last night. I will make supper from me and my husband, but at least I don't work tonight.

Thank you from one COVID WARRIOR to another, thank you for your service. During the quiet times, I had time to think. I watched doctors, nurses,
and the like come to the edge of being “burned out.”
I suggested the hospital take a patient room and strip it completely of all the panels and devices that define it as a hospital room. Then, we turned the room to look like a living room. We call it the Respite Room with the intent to help healers heal.
This room will be stocked with books to share, magazines to read and no televisions, and no phones. We will have paintings on the wall as well.
This will be the thank you everyone needs
