Problems with new Aperture version upgrade?

I am reading on apertureexpert.com about lots of problems with the recent Aperture upgrade. I haven't upgraded yet for that reason. Has anyone else had problems with presets, files, etc. as stated there?

yes , I've had problems with Aperture . My system is a mid 2007 iMac, 2.4 ghz with 4 gig ram.
It would crash all the time. Being bothered by this I restored it back to the old version before the big upgrade , then I went back in and checked on updates again . Sure enough it showed that Aperture had an update , so I updated to the newer version. Thats when it stopped crashing . It seemed a bit slow, sluggish but it at least worked without crashing.
Now just the other day they had another update on Aperture only ( version 3.4.1 ) , and this time it seemed to help a lot, much faster and works well with the other programs ( iPhoto) .
I feel it is safe now to upgrade , but remember to back up your system before and after , just incase ! OHH , this is my 1st time I "restored" anything so it sure was easy , and very helpful .
