Your post could not have come at a better time. Been researching filters for awhile looking at NISI, Lee, Fomatt, etc. I had decided on NISI and planned on buying the advanced kit ($1000) today. Now it’s back to researching Blue Frog. Pricing is very attractive compared to other brands. Question is why?. They claim they use German glass. Hopefully others weigh in as I hit the pause button.

All I know is that the manufacturer is said to be based in Miami, Florida. I live here and I never heard of them. I am not familiar with their cost either.
They claim the filters are free of a color cast, have high resolution and have multi coating and nano coat. Their warranty is 5 years.
They claim the filters have German glass.

My friend bought the advanced kit for $1000, and when his wife saw the bill, she croaked

I stopped using rectangular graduated ND filters shortly after I stopped shooting film. There are much several ways to accomplish better significantly results with digital and quality, multi-coated, round glass filters are a lot less expensive. I still have a couple Grad ND, holders, adapters, hood... just in case I want to shoot some film and need them. But they've mostly just been gathering dust. They might come in handy for video, too... though I almost never shoot it.

Why don’t you check to see if B&H or Amazon or any retailer sells them and what the reviews are.

I have been using Blue Frog filters for about a year now. I was hesitant at first but I absolutely love this filter system. Perfect colors. Very well worth it. And a really great company.

hi Joe and welcome to the forum, I noticed you have just joined and made this post on a thread that is a year old. Just wondering how this thread caught your attention.

The filters look like a good option but when I looked at the site the address they have is a UPS store mail box.

I really like using the Blue Frog filters. Customer service is great. I have been watching to see others that use the filters and this came up in my search so I thought I could help if anyone still saw this

Thanks Joe

I was looking at their website and it is a pretty amazing price for filters. Just have to check out their shipping to Canada.
