The starlings enjoying my backyard birdfeeders each morning are happy to display their tendency to initiate violence to keep other birds away from food they want. However they appear to be lacking in intelligence and loyalty. Often they quickly reverse their attack and go after their own accomplice in crime. The fat starling on the right kept the starling on the suet cage's attention, while the sneaky one snuck up from behind. Inexplicably, at the last moment the attacker reversed direction and scared to bird poo out of fat boy. (These birds are very entertaining!) Enjoy.
Very nice photo and dissertation. Mahalo for sharing.

Thank you JoAnneK01]. As a photographer and author of books, I can't help from expressing my self both visually and with text. It is very satisfying to learn that someone else enjoys my work as much as I go. Please let me see some of your work so that I can support you as well. Don Marler (Shooter 41) at randfan@cox.net.
