Saw this mockingbird attacking its image in the window of my pickup. Ran inside and grabbed my camera and was able to get a few shots. Sorry about the quality but I was trying to shoot before I frightened it away and did not have time to do any adjustments.

Cool shots. They can be aggressive, I had one once in my backyard that used to chase my cat around
It is upset that it has to fly everywhere and the "other" mocker has that big pickup to drive around in.

Cool. I used to set a mirror by my platform feeder. It drove the titmice crazy

To show he was not pleased with me taking its photo, the dirty bird left his calling card on my door handle and mirror.
Nice action set. I have seen that more than once.
Last year I noticed a male cardinal pecking at my bedroom window, he was relentless and attacked his reflection so often that he tore holes in my screened window. It cost me plenty to have the screen replaced. We tried to place something between the screen and window hoping that he couldn't see his reflection. This action went on for two or three days!! I thought at first the bird was crazy but now I see where you had relatively the same experience with a blue-jay.

great sequence of the mockingbird attacking, sendai...first time i've seen a mockingbird do that.
there was a little titmouse who flew around tapping on some of the house windows once though,
and a little downy woodpecker who pecked on my bedroom window a bit.
Apparently, it wasn’t the fairest of them all!
Great shots, reminds me of a Robin years ago that sat on the top of the drivers door and fight with itself in the side mirror. That is when I discovered just how "dirty" a bird the Robin is. Dark green car, with a vertical white stripe just behind the mirror. Stupid bird.
