Shel B's post titled "Delicate Arch" yesterday (see:
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-674160-1.html) got me thinking: what shots of Delicate Arch do I have scanned? I say 'scanned' because even though I've been to (or more usually have hiked past) Arches Nat'l Park's iconic Delicate Arch any number of times over the years, apart from having shot it from some elsewhere --from, say, the Cache Valley road, or from the considerably more distant Garden Of Eden-- I've only ever shot Delicate on film, not on digital.
Dug through 'the archives' and came across this old --old as in three or four scanners ago-- scan. There was nothing special about it, so I'd never done anything with it. Hadn't bothered to clone out the dust spots or random cat hairs; hadn't tried to clean it up or fix it or otherwise mess with it before, but since Shel had sort of 'inspired' me, I figured I'd give it a go.
Not the best of shots, admittedly, but in a weird sort of way I think it does have a sort film-ian charm to it. And besides, what the heck....
A great beautiful capture. Definitely a wall hanger. Mahalo for sharing.
What an engaging shot (perspective and execution), Jim!
The geometrics radiating out are enchanting. Thanks for sharing under “what the heck” terms, hey why not?

What the heck, is right...
Still a nice one. Glad you dug it out.
Nice! First time I have ever seen it from that side.
