Does anyone know anything about the latest Apple iOS for iMac, 11.0.1, Big Sur? Like, does it create problems for Photoshop, or any other software?

So far I do not know. I believe this is one to wait on, though. My readings show's that the desktop looks like and to a degree emulates iPhone/iPad OS.

The most recent intel I have is the system not run on Intel chips because Apple is using their new ARM-based chips Adobe and MS Office will not run on them at the moment. Adobe is working on compatibility issues now.

Big Sir only runs on the ARM chips?

Does anyone think Apple may IOS/OS themselves out of business??? How many do they have a year??
iMacs, including the newest, use Intel chips. The first iMac with an ARM chip is slated for release next year. The MacBooks that were just released have ARM chips.
Big Sur does not only run on Apple’s M1 chip it also runs on Intel as well, I have MacBook Pro 16” and I updated from Catalina to BigSur and I’m not having no issues, I have PhotoShop And Lightroom, ON1 Photo Raw 2021, Nike Effects, Portrait Pro 19, FXhome Greenscreen, Affinity, Wacom Tablet software, On 1 AI, Canon software, Data Color 5, Final Cut X, Luminar 4, Toast Pro, Google Chrome, and I have ran each one to check for issues and I have had no issues, so rather you choose to update are not is up to you I’m just telling you my experience, it does not only run on the M1 chip.

Louis Rossmann has some interesting info. on this new Apple OS here:

All I need to know is that I can no longer update the OS on my 2012 Macs. Ridiculous, but that's what Apple decided.
I am running ON 1 and Affinity, contacted both and both ON1 does not play well with Big Sur and the same with Affinity photo, I hope you don’t have future troubles they are working on a fix to allow there programs to play nice with the new OS I have had my iMac for a little over a year and can’t believe there have been three OS changes I also have a PC and don’t every recall three OS changes in a year what’s up with that.
I just purchased a new iMac and the first thing I needed to do was update the OS. I'm waiting for a cable to transfer my application from the other iMac before I can use the new one. Perhaps today.

Just loaded the Big Sur 11.0.1 update last night on about a 4 year old IMac with Intel Core i5 processor.
No problems that I can see so far with my Lightroom subscription software.

NO! It does run on Intel silicon also, but I would give it 30-60 days for all the bugs to surface.
That is perhaps true. However, Big Sur runs on intel chips. How do I know? Easy, I just installed it on a new iMac running a 10 core Intel i7 processor.

Affinity has an update (version 1.8.6) for Designer and Publisher that is supposed to work (not tested) with Big Sur.
From Apple Insider: "Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher, and Affinity Photo have all been updated to version 1.8.6, bringing compatibility with macOS Big Sur, and native optimization for the Apple Silicon M1 processor. ... Although the three work independently, when users have two or more of them on the same Mac, they integrate closely"
