Ponds via canoe

So, with sailing/motorboating season drawing to a close hubby and I have been canoeing a bit more.
We have a *lot* of ponds around us and, canoeing being a somewhat stealthy pastime, we have been enjoying the ability to sneak up on wildlife while taking in some of the glorious foliage. I have taken a ton of images from numerous ponds and shared them on my local Facebook groups, to positive reviews from those unable to partake of a water-born perspective.

Here, in no particular order, are a few of my favorites.

I am in Delaware. We also have an antique wooden motorboat that we use on the rivers, but it’s harder to get critters from a moving vessel.
