Trying to load Lusts (cube files) into Affinity photo, but the instructions on the web don't seem to work. I am running the latest version of Affinity. Thanks

Open your layers panel, select adjustments, open the luts panel.

Or watch Olivio Sarikas explain how to load and use luts on youtube.

Good video. I've never played with LUTs.
When do you use them?

LUTs are a kind of color filter used to alter color in an image.

They can alter gamma, contrast, saturation, luminance, and hue. They take original colors and change them into a new set of colors.

They can be used for color correction, color grading work, color enhancement, adding darker tones for mood adjustment, increasing shadows and highlights, boosting mid-tones, and on and on.

They are a creative tool, and in my opinion, are used when the creative urge strikes.
