A Guest Ranch No More...
I'm assuming this was a Guest Ranch where lodging was provided. It is on a dirt road near the entrance to the Elk Flats Ranch, Grand Teton N.P. Wyoming. According to a tour van driver I talked with it, has been in this decaying state for some time. He believes the National Park Service acquired the property several years ago and may have plans to utilize the property however money is always in short supply for the NPS. There are ~75 cabins, ranches etc. within the Park boundaries that are still privately owned that may ultimately be acquired by the NPS.
I tried to find more info on the web to no avail.
1. Looking down the lane to the complex...Grandma's house

The Jackson Historical society website has mention of the ranch but nothing on this complex. Yes, if only I could find that person!!
Darn, mt, she wasn't home when I arrived and I wasn't gonna wait til darkness set in, not at that spooky place!!

Thank you, Sylvias...wish there was more to the story to quell our curiosity!!
A very nice set and history, jederick. But it's a real shame that this place was allowed to deteriorate.
Very nice set Jim - love these old cabins!
Interesting--nice photos.

Thank you and yes it is. There is a practice in the National Forest that may be adopted here of letting old structures deteriorate or razed and let the site return to its natural state...guessing.
