Has anyone looked at Biden's tax proposal? It sounds great but here is the fallacy in this:

Tax the rich? Really? Rich people know how to protect income. Many million dollar earners pay less in taxes than people earning 200,000 a year.

Tax corporations? Sure this part of his plan will work but then again, corporations don't pay taxes -- the consumer pays those taxes in the form of increased prices on goods and services. So it's a way of collecting taxes from everyone by going through the back door!

Other than the rich, the middle class has the most disposable income to purchase goods and services so the taxes we are not supposed to see will in effect be levied on us in the form of what we buy.

You may end up owing more tax u Dee the current tax proposal if you inherit property with the step up back in, but I’m not seeing that as impacting those who aren’t rich.

I do, however, expect an increase in taxes at some time. It’s inevitable with the need to get necessary resources to pay for the increased spending done in past 12 years, plus more stimulus, infrastructure costs, etc. I thought gop wanted smart fiscal policies and trying to decrease national debt. Are they still around? Who are they as I need to support their e******ns.

Good to see that so many of you are earning more than $400,000 a year. Guess life has been good to you.
BTW, if you get an enormous tax bill this year, you might want to recall that Trump deferred your contributions to the payroll tax and it's coming due.
Another screw-up by the Grifter in the White House.

Most corporations didn’t adopt the change because they saw through the s**m. Federal employees had no choice...where all those who are usually calling foul for too much federal overreach?

Well at least you’re learning .
Now you must also admit that Americans are paying for all trumps trade tariffs - not China .

Are you forgetting that Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives control the purse strings of the government? Are you forgetting that Nancy Pelosi wanted millions in stimulus money to go to Planned Parenthood and Unions, not the workers of these two places but to the organizations themselves. How about 25 million to the Lincoln Center? Nope, not to the workers of the Lincoln Center but to the Lincoln Center itself. Pretty hellacious waste of taxpayer dollars isn't it? Yet that is all on Democrats. I don't see you complaining about that expenditure. Why not?

Perhaps the House needs a new Speaker who can control the purse strings a bit tighter this time.

You’re a broken record...look it up as I’ve provided the links. No federal money to PP, Trump requested Lincoln Center funds due to Melania being on the board. I'll get back to you on unions once I verify it.

By the bye, I’m in favor of a new Speaker as well as new Senate leader.

depends upon who/what the replacements are. The cure might be worse than the disease. A demcrat senate just might be a disaster

When Sleepy Joe REMOVES the Trump tax cut as he has asserted he will do, MY TAXES WILL GO UP. Whether I make 400k or not.

What is so difficult to understand?

But don't sit there behind your keyboard and try to tell me Biden is not raising taxes on the middle class.

He is not raising taxes on anyone that makes less than $400,000.
